How does one make sense of the ‘interfaith culture’ emerging in our midst? In this vast arena, how do we get a sense of the whole? TIO’s first three issues focused on Deepening Interfaith Dialogue (September 2011), Interfaith History and Foundational Documents (October), and Interfaith Organizations (November).
The December 15 issue will explore all sorts of issues, a practice we’ll continue every other month in 2012 (February, April, June, August, October, and December). These ‘even’ month issues will continue to feature news and reports, interfaith opportunities, major events, and religious calendars.
The ‘odd’ month issues will feature the following themes:
January Meaning Making (theology, spirituality, and more…)
March Renewing the Movement: Young Adults, Women & Indigenous Traditions
May The Big Issues – Peace, the Earth, Economics, and…
July Service & Funding: Becoming Interfaith Activists & Paying Our Bills
September Interfaith Education
November Interfaith in a Digital World
