Eileen Flanagan is a Quaker writer, teacher, and activist. Her latest book, The Wisdom to Know the Difference: When to Make a Change – and When to Let Go (2010), was endorsed by the Dalai Lama and won a 2010 Silver Nautilus Book Award. Her articles have appeared on the Huffington Post, Beliefnet, and the Washington Post’s online On Faith column, as well as print magazines, such as Tikkun. She leads the board of the Earth Quaker Action Team, which uses nonviolent direct action to work for a just and sustainable economy.
